its proven tat as we travel faster, time became slower. mayb if we go beyond the speed of light, we may travel back in time?Originally posted by stellazio:i think it exists, but i don't think time travelling exists..
YES, IT EXIST. But I don't think it's directly related to time travelling.Originally posted by RaTtY81:does it really exists? is it the key to time travelling?
You're reading too much.. Of our current made-up, it's quite unlikely that we would be travelling beyond speed of light. Do you know about the other EFFECTS other than TIME SLOWING DOWN...Originally posted by RaTtY81:its proven tat as we travel faster, time became slower. mayb if we go beyond the speed of light, we may travel back in time?
hmm im not sure wat other effects will happen?Originally posted by Devil1976:You're reading too much.. Of our current made-up, it's quite unlikely that we would be travelling beyond speed of light. Do you know about the other EFFECTS other than TIME SLOWING DOWN...
That's the problems with books these days... They're more for 'entertainments'... Either that or you're not reading them properly.. But alot of them just tell you the facts you wanna hear... The 'OH....' thing... Not the limitations..Originally posted by RaTtY81:hmm im not sure wat other effects will happen?
Yes. No.Originally posted by RaTtY81:does it really exists? is it the key to time travelling?
It is probably possible, but we will not be able change whatever that happens during that period of time. You can travel all the way back to WWII, but you can't change the fact that WWII has happened.Originally posted by RaTtY81:its proven tat as we travel faster, time became slower. mayb if we go beyond the speed of light, we may travel back in time?
I don't think that's what black holes meant, but the collapsing part is correct, due to their own gravitational energy. As they are big, their gravitational force is great as well.Originally posted by Devil1976:That's the problems with books these days... They're more for 'entertainments'... At that stage things get MUCH HEAVIER than their original mass... They just COLLAPSE... If I'm not wrong, black holes are something like that...
That's one theory. There are more theories that exist, but not proven.Originally posted by poon cho tang:they are mathematical singularities where all science breaks down
Another theory. But this theory aren't as strong, because the magnetic pull relationship is currently still being worked out.Originally posted by Aveme:i dun think such time travel would be in anyway possible thru a blackhole
You are using the theory that as u get suck into a blackhole, the time get slower and slower as it get more distorted by the magnetic pull,so it will mean time will be at it's slowest---->infinity at the core of the blackhole { technically going into a "past" [it is a past that exist only within the gravitational pull of the blackhole and since time itself is a different entity (since it has different property of being slower) ,the past is also a different entity thus this past is a different past compare to your normal world past that you want to go back into}.
Black holes do exist, through observing double stars. One of the double stars are observed to be revolving closer and closer to one unseen object, which leads to scientists concluding that it is a blackhole. However, it may not be the case all the time.Originally posted by DriftingGuy:It is not even certain that black holes really exist. You have indirect evidence of black holes from the phenomenon surrounding them... but theres no absolute and direct evidence that black holes really exist
yea their gravitational pull is so strong tat light cannot escape. tats y its called black hole.Originally posted by Devil1976:That's the problems with books these days... yea the event tat happen cannot jus b erased like tat. even if u go back n prevent ww2, it only happen to tat timeline tat u went back, the "present" timeline will still go on.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:It is probably possible, but we will not be able change whatever that happens during that period of time. Because time is always forward moving, never backwards. Even if we can travel faster than light.Originally posted by RaTtY81:yea the event tat happen cannot jus b erased like tat. even if u go back n prevent ww2, it only happen to tat timeline tat u went back, the "present" timeline will still go on.
