Our strongest course is our information technology course as this school is totally paperless. A lot of students here can repair their own computer without much help from administrators unless the problem is too serious. All RP students know basic VB programming, which contribute to the strong IT students here. -

This is not a question, but something we need to inform everyone who is interested in coming to RP.
All RP first year students do a common course, which is regardless of what diploma you are going graduate in, you will do 13 common modules.
Here's the list:
1) Cognitive Processes and Problem Solving I
2) Cognitive Processes and Problem Solving II
3) Enterprise Skills I
4) Enterprise Skills II
5) Introduction to Communication Practices
6) Contemporary Issues in Culture and Aesthetics
7) Basic Science I
8 ) Basic Science II
9) Computing and Mathematical Methods I
10) Computing and Mathematical Methods II
11) Creative Engagement
12) Professional Profiling
13) Design Projects
For Design Projects, it will be slightly different, depending on what diploma and specialization you choose. For example, you are doing a diploma in biomedical engineering and choose a biomedical imaging and processing specialization, you will do 2 projects related to it. -

hmm, how is biotech course in rp? i studied bio but don't know the prospect in this area. how useful is it in the society now?

Somehow the cut-off point for this course is quite low (as in more than 15 points). Biomedical science course is very popular here.
However, the biotech course is very interesting, especially for those who are interested in pharmaceutical sector or the genetics sector.
The biotech course offers these two specializations, and you get to learn a lot about genetics even if you want to study the pharmaceutical option.

More about RP.
RP is a paperless school, so all students will have a laptop. You will need to buy a laptop to study here. The laptops sold here are all below market price ($1400-$1800, excluding upgrades). If you are unable to buy one due to financial difficulty, you can borrow it from the school.
If your laptop spoils, you will have to go to IT-Helpdesk. There, IT technicians will help you to solve your problems. Should your problem be too serious, you will have to borrow a laptop from the library as we have no paper backups (except for tests. We have no exams by the way).
Our time table is a five-day week, meaning you have to come to school everyday. School starts at 8.30am everyday and will end around 4pm to 4.30pm, depending on how long each presentation lasts and how many questions are asked.
You have to attend talks, participate in events to get CE points. CE points are Creative Engagement points. We have CE activities so that students can get to know more about the working world and learn something through the activities they participate. A total of 40 points are needed. Note that this is a module, so it is compulsory. Students who do not have 40 points by the end of year 3 will have to stay back to do this module. Competition may gain you CE points, but this is up to the school on whether they want to give you or not. Most of the time they do.
Professional Profiling is another compulsory module. In this module, you will interview professionals and do a write-up on them.
CCAs are part of RP student's life. You can set up your own CCA too. By gathering 5 students (including yourself) and a facilitator (teacher), you can submit your proposal for the CCA. -
