  hawkers try really hard to cut cost.
  
  the quality keeps dropping. the chopsticks wrapped in plastics are the worst. they peel off easily, so dangerous!!!

  Cheap and no need to wash wor ...And Chinese authories are planing to curb such usage. It is estimated billions of trees are cut down to manufactured such goods. And, cause rubbish problem also ...
  
  But, we can't ban such usage right? The only way to reduce is to have a "bring ur own chopsticks" initative ... but looking at SG, i doubt it was be successful.

  but it is really bad.
  
  many times the chopstick just peeled off when i removed the plastic wrapping.

  u mean the splinters?
  
  u are suppoed to "buff" off the splinters lah
  
  u know how to use or not
  
  i think like tt more hygenic though the chopsticks not very comfortable to hold...........
