Care to share what's the nicest beach you been in SEA and why? For me, it's Redang Island, off Terangganu in Malaysia. Very soft white sand and clear blue waters, and the best thing is you get good snorkelling just off the main beach : baby sharks, parrotfish.
Mine is at Langkawi.... The seawater is so clear.... Postcard ready scenery!
how does phuket compares to langkawi? would love to go redang, but heard the bus ride there is an astounding 10 hrs!!!
phuket has many beaches. they range from pure crap to really beautiful ones.
I've been to Krabi and Phi Phi..really nice beaches there
koh samui in thailand
Redang is really far, imo, the beach is much better than Phuket's and if you just do snorkelling, you can actually see baby sharks just in shallow waters off the beach. I believe Star Cruise do cruise there and you can also fly there by Berjaya Air, but u need to stay at the Berjaya Beach resort.
Heard Boracay / Palawan in Philippines are even better. Anyone been there yet?
Nice!
Definitely not pasir ris beach.
Pulau pemanggil remains one of my favourite, snow like sand, and waters so clear you cannot actually call it water.
Pearl Farm Resort, Davao, Philippines.

Boracay touristic, but less so than Patong or Kuta. If you enjoy, the beach is better than both.

It is natural, we are in between the big rivers of Sumatra and Malaysia that discharge large amount of slit to churn the water.

Would like to go Boracay, or Palawan one day. U been to Palawan? Saw the pics, look really nice. But the thing is surprisingly, going to these places are not cheap, more ex than Koh Samui etc.. ha. Now with the H1N1 flu, Philippines is quite hit, so prob need to wait a while.
boracay is best ..
!!!!
Me want to go
see SPS corals!!
tiger just had one promotion for boracay, dirt cheap.
But you need to have 1 transfer flight and a boat ride but well worth it.
