Anyone been to Star Cruise?

Care to share some experiences what you did there?
What are the activities you can do?
And i dont wanna sleep at nightime...wonder what i can do in the wee hours?

For my family, we only eat, gamble, sleep.
If this is your first trip, you can do quite alot of things. But after a few time, you will become like my family.
First of all, the casino "oasis", must go.
Food: Got free one, got need to pay one. Check the timing of the free buffet. Sometimes got BBQ nites at the deck. Not really worth going to those that need to pay, cos it's much more expenisve than eating same thing in sg.
Got library, duh, what's the point of going library to surf net and read?you dont have to do that in cruise.
Got swimming pool. Can go swim, even you can swim in sg too. But it's different feeling, the sun is super bright in the middle of the sea.
Take alot of pictures everywhere.
Got arcade, it's for kids and maids. The parents go gamble, give the money to maid and bring the kids to play arcade.
At nite got different kind of shows at 7th floor, sometimes even got those topless dance.
Normal shows are free, but topless dance show need to pay.
Got so called "disco" at the lounge.
Can play basket ball on the deck, but why go cruise to play?
Lie down on the seats at the deck at nite and watch the stars if you go with your bf/gf.
live bands, live singing at different places different time.
That's all that i can remember, just go explore around if it's your first time. They have directories everywhere. When you first go to your cabin, they have the programme list on your bed, you can check from there see what you can do.
Just remember one thing, dun spend too much. Cos they dun need you to pay cash, you pay things using your cabin card. Before the trip end, when you check out then you pay the whole bill(now then see yourself giving out cash). So it's hard to keep track how much you spent. -

You can eat eat eat like a cow. By the time you disembark, you gained 4kg.

Has to be expensive, to pay for the 24hr buffet.

The cabins are free. My parents gamble alot, they gain points for the amount they gamble. So they can get cabins by using points instead of money.
But star cruise is smart, the points needed for the first room is not much, for a second room it's alot. In that case, those who gamble they need to spend a little points only to go there to gamble, if they want to bring kids(those who dun gamble large amount) they have to spend many points on it.
When check out still need to pay for the bill on things i eat(beside the buffet), the tax(I forgot what tax it's called). -

I just went for a cruise couple of months back.
Star cruise usually has a series of activities on board that you can join in. The activities usually start as early as 6am to late at night like 12am. Check out the programme sheet in your cabin.
Personally, I feel that the food at the free buffet is not nice. You should go eat at the restaurants. The chinese or western restaurant has a set meal which is also free, but only you can choose either 1. However if you're still hungry, you can go up to the free buffet to eat since that one don't have any limits.
The set meal menus are usually put outside the restaurant so you can check it out first. I will recommend you to dine at Bella Vista (the western restaurant) for either chinese or western set meal because the restaurant is bigger. more seats.
The cruise ship is pretty big, you can slowly explore each levels and then see which activities to join in. The popular ones will be Bingo. But you'll need to pay for the tickets. Its quite fun..
If not, just walk into the casino, put a bit of money into a slot machine and then you can ask the attendants for free drinks, like coffee, milo, water, honey, etc etc...
