The Station has always had The Punks as loyal customers – until The Peranakans decided to buy it over and turn it into the True Blood Café.
The Punks could not disagree more with this shocking change and aren’t coy to express their opinions.
But The Peranakans feel they’ve done nothing wrong and will obviously not stand down.
The two distinctly diverse groups - complete opposite from one another - struggle to meet with a compromise.

Presented by Underground Theatre, SUBCULTURE is part of The Substation’s SeptFest 2008 and is in collaboration with Lioncity DIY. Featuring Peranakan song & dance items and Punk music.
Written & Directed by Dew M. Chaiyanara (SBA Merit Award: Scriptwriting) and performed by a talented cast including real Punks and true Peranakans, starring:Candice De Rozario (Life! Theatre Awards: Best Ensemble)
