  The unique thing about the junction is that its on a hill and directly above the MRT tunnel.

  My grandparents told me that the hill had been there ever since Chai Chee was first developed

  I'm hearing more low-pitched sounds in EWL than in NSL now. Especially in the eastern side.

  Same here, BTW, can any1 confirm with me that Kembagan EB produces the same acceleration sound when accelerating?  

  If not X018 also have this problem

  according to news

  KTMB tanjong pagar station to be relocated by july 2011 at woodlands

  does that means that there is a high possiblity that NE2 station on NEL will be opened, let's say around 2018 ?

  Very hard to say, but there are very few developments there, besides the Distripark.

  High chance. This is because despite NE2 does not exist (Unlike DT4, a cutbox tunnel is built along with the DTL, much like Bukit Brown and not Woodleigh), but Dover did never existed as well. Until 1999, the LTA had built the Dover station and opens within 3 years (2001 open)

   

  So, yes, digging underground might take more time, but it should not be longer than 5 years (I expect 3 ~ 4 years), and who knows what development may take place by / since 2012? (2012 / 2013 start develop the area, 2014 / 2015 start the construction of NE2, by 2016 / 2017 the development project should have done and NE2 opens by the next year of it)

   

  PS: This is my speculation without sources.

  Then when do u think of NS6 Sg Kadut and NS14 Simpang? They keep proposing, but wldn build. NS6 has a curvy track i know, but will the number remain skipped  forever?
