everton really needs a better striker. obviously beattie is not up to the mark. he cant even score from a simple sitter. wonder why moyes choose him over marcus bent.
newcastle needs a new coach. they cant score without owen. shearer is really over the hill and must retire come end of the season. amoebi is one lousy player. but no one beats bramble. he is one big block of wood. -
anyway everton won 1-0 and is temporarily out of the relegation zone.

Agree that Everton is badly in need of a good striker. Beattie is too injury prone. Think Bent might be better in certain senses.

Somehow why should anyone be surprised that Everton win.
The match is played at Goodison Park and any EPL team will tell you that it is never easy playing Everton at their home ground (Remember Everton drew with Chelsea anyone and started the winless streak)
Considering that so many good players rejected the move to Everton and players just coming back from injuries should ensure that Everton be in the middle of the table at the end of the season.
