I now know it not money that matters, who u get as director of football and manager also matters. look at spurs, get arnesen and jol and with all their contacts in europe, they now have so many exciting young talents

Soccer: Kanoute agrees four-year Sevilla deal
SEVILLE, Spain : Spanish Primera Liga side Sevilla announced they have agreed to sign Tottenham's Mali international striker Fredi Kanoute for 6.5 million euros (US$8 million).
Kanoute has agreed a four-year deal with the club who recently sold star striker Julio Baptista to Real Madrid.
He becomes Sevilla's second major arrival in less than a week following the loan signing of Barcelona forward Javier Saviola.
Kanoute scored 14 goals in 59 appearances for Tottenham and will be officially unveiled at his new club on Thursday.
He joined Spurs for 3.5 million pounds from West Ham in August 2003, having arrived at Upton Park from Lyon in 2000. - AFP/de -
TOTTENHAM: South Korean international defender Lee Young Pyo will leave PSV Eindhoven and sign for Spurs, according to the Dutch club's coach Guus Hiddink.
'Lee is going to leave us for Tottenham,' said Hiddink. 'There are clauses in his contract which force us to let him leave when another club put a set amount on the table.
'We can't battle against a Premier League club, it's a pity. Lee came to Eindhoven as an average player; he leaves as one of the best left-backs in the Dutch league.'
Lee will become the second South Korean player to leave PSV after Park Ji Sung joined Manchester United in the summer.
Meanwhile, Hamburg are in talks with Spurs over a loan deal for Swiss international defender Reto Ziegler.
The 19-year-old Ziegler, regarded as one of the biggest talents in Swiss football, has seen his chances at Tottenham limited and Hamburg want to take the teenager on loan until the end of the season. -
