That particular scene happened when Donnie was asked by Simon Yam to join him and his brothers at the beach. The visuals were kinda arty farty with grainy film-like feel to it. The wind was blowing in their direction and he was looking afar to the sea with his shades on... wahhh.... sui dai le. -

Actually, I saw the DVD at the store but didn't buy the movie yet. Scared the DVD are those taped at the cinema type. I bet it is a good movie eh? And that Sammo Hung looks cool!
In Donnie's recent TV interview with E-Buzz (HongKong), Donnie said the two guys (young gen) that he "see good" for action movies are Nic Tse and Jay Chou. -

Oh man!!!!!.............I watched Sha Po Lang last night and boy the fight scenes were just AWESOME!!! I'm going like "sui!", "wah, sui!"...... his moves, his agility. I doubt there were wires. Can someone confirm? Man, HE IS the man!!! And oh, the scenes where he wore singlet? Looks beefy alright!!!
Baseline, I know which scene you were talking about already. The one by the beach where Simon Yam invited Donnie for a chat and sort of introduce the ka kia to him. Yeap, he had that oversized shades on. Well, there were a number of shots that he looked darn shuai too!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and it is one where I will re-watch it again.
On a separate topic, I thought Sammo Hung acted brilliantly in his role in Sha Po Lang too! -

Yesh, that the one I mentioned about. Great looking shirt.. slightly unbuttoned I think....... great shades and of cos that cool hands on the hip pose.
Although it may not be a Golden Horse winning film but the actors made great lengths to allow the characters come 'alive'. The killing were violent, the hatred were intense. Engaging! -

Yeap, the killings were violent but the action sequence were brilliant. Donnie directed the action scenes leh. And yes, that slightly unbuttoned outfit makes one drool. And guess what? Throughout the whole movie, I think he only needed one change of clothes. -

Actually, I've seen the three steps one. Say, start with right foot, step about 1 foot from the ground, then left foot follow up another foot, then the kick with the right foot, another foot up. Very sui...this movement, I like. Must be fast otherwise, sure puak toh one. -

Donnie Yen's ATV drama before doing Fist of Fury. you heard of the saying 'hong men yi jia qing'?
