PS: I made this thread cuz i buaysong with some of the bleachfanboys+narutards in my class. Everyday talk about bleach+naruto somemore they think they super knowledgable about anime. Asked them know what is melancholy of suzumiya haruhi bo. All give me that blur look. GG! -

Hmm I believe a true anime fan doesn't just limit himself/herself to just these titles nia wor.
Some little things which I think that denotes an anime fan
1) Find out more about the anime, how different it is from the manga variation...
(SamuraiX is one such anime)
2) Collect it's merchandise... be it figurines, posters, games, character personality books (those that discuss the personalities of individual characters in the anime in DEPTH, why they react that way to a certain situation and choice of words etc)
3) Able to discuss about the voices (seiryus) and artists behind the anime, name similar anime titles that share the same voice actresses/actors. -
i love the comedy kinds of animes as well, like GTO and school rumble.

Dragonball GT - got funimation and blue max version
Orange Road - got whole TV episodes,8 ovas, and 2 movies, plus OST.
some how I think as long as you loved a particular anime, you got collect lots of their stuff, wallpaper, hp theme, dvd , vcd or even dream of them, you can consider as an anime fan. -
