Cus they want to trial him, and giv further pushment for his action, b4 they can do anything those menos come and resuce him with the light(forget wat it is call) and they cant touch him when he is in the light.
He should be more powerful than any other captain, he did say u need twice the resistu to temp awake the hoyoku(sp).

anw, this fighting gets draggy again. my guess wud be going to nxt scene on the next chapter be4 coming back to the fight

after kenpachi's fight with Ichigo, he seems to know abit of his sword. And looking @ the situation now, eyepatch taken off, Nnorita(sp?) slashing him...i'd be expecting at least a shikai. -

Kenpachi & ichigo's zanpukuto are released 24/7 -
i watched only the anime. kenpachi remarked on his sword, it's an ordinary soul slayer he doesn't even bother to know the name of. zangetsu said that his soulslayer and kenpachi were not working as a team, not helping each other at all.
if kenpachi has even a shikai, it would be imba.

i believe the author will most probably surprise us with something. if not send kenpachi go down to save ichigo for what if he's not showing us 1 or 2 new moves.

kenpachi doesnt even haf shikai... his zanpakutou is a normal one, no name... wen ichigo and kenpachi dueled at soul society, there's a scene where ichigo & zangetsu said that they could hear kenpachi's zanpakutou scream, but kenpachi cant hear it...
