basically, it's about the adventures of Luffy and his crew of misfit pirates.
in One Piece, majority of the Pirates are powerful people with superhuman abilities. for example, Luffy is a rubber man who can stretch himself.
they get their powers from eating a fruit called the devil's fruit. upon eating it, one will lose it's ability to swim as well.
the marines, the law enforcers in the story also have higher ranking officers who have the devil's fruit power too.
generally the story is about Luffy defeating other pirates while on their quest to get the ultimate treasure called One Piece, a still unknown artifact left behind by the king of pirates Gold Roger, who is dead btw. -

manga vol 43 is already out. looks like the current storyline is going to end soon. hopefully next book cos it have been dragging for more than 3 years.

the storyline is estimated through 1/2 of the originally planned, it'll be scary if it reaches 1000 chapters. though.
btw the wanted posters of gol d. rogers, whitebeard and shanks seems to be fake ones. didnt see it in any other forums. photoshop? or 100% real? -
I was told there was this comic (chinese?) that went on for 50-60years? And about 1000+ volumes.

the last 3 episodes all review/memories of the characters' past in the anime. for 3 bloody freaking episodes all they did was jump down from the wall which they could have done so in less than 10 seconds!!
and people still complain how naruto drags. geez! -

this week chapter is interesting. they are going to their next destination, mermaid island. should be cool.

the gang actually stood on the wall for 1.5 months thinking of the past, and story effectively progressed for less than 5 minutes in the consecutive episode. narutards obviously have no idea what is called bad fillers.

btw there doesnt seems to have any bad fillers under complain in one piece.
