If a watch that costs $200-300, u get disturbed.i guess you will get paranoid by those collecting Vacheron/Patek/Jaeger watches easily costing more than a 3rd World Country's GDP. -
lol my best friend got a priceless watch for his birthday, can't remember the brand but they stopped making it and it became another expensive watch brand. It's an antique and worth at least a few thousand, got it from his grandma.

those 10 dollar watches, the materials used are those cheapskate kind. very easy spoil. the mechanism is worse. in a few months comfirm gone.
i have a watch my mum bought, 200 plus, its still with me until, its been 2 yrs liao, still working like it shld, but mine isnt the wind up one, need to change battery. -
I don't think it's that big a deal anyways, probably was the kid's birthday and a lot of people his age get presents which cost around that price range. Perhaps instead of getting a new computer which would cost almost ten times the price he wanted a watch instead.
