haiz... apparently, i spent 6.5 hours in the lab only to realise that i have been doing rubbish...
so now must start right from the beginning and try to figure out why the hell two homo sapien genes for the same enzyme dun even align with each other.

dunno also. thats what my senior said, but how to tell sia?? i mean, according to how i understand the codes in NCBI, the part of the gene i am interested in (that contains a particularly interesting mutation) isnt even in the coding region of the gene. wassup with that? if the mutation is not involved in coding for the enzyme, then how can it affect phenotype?Originally posted by hisoka:hihiz.
