Asks us to do about Vista...
Best of all, expected cost is NULL. Imagine having 5 notebooks with different versions of Vista installed, all FOC.
Somehow, I feel that it's not that cheap. Sian 0.5
School say $0 needed, but looking at the project, I don't think $0 is needed, more like $10K is needed. One laptop, one system. Excluding softwares.Originally posted by hisoka:you mean you need to buy and install yourself arh?

A couple married for 10 years was getting bored with their lives.
They gave each other permission to have affairs, but without consummation for 100 days.
Guess whether they will break promise or keep it.

How did you guys extract the DNA?Originally posted by fudgester:Calling for starblue/hisoka/anyone else trained in life sciences to answer this question...
In the extraction of DNA, why does DNA precipitate into alcohol when you add it to the solution?
And why must the alcohol be cold? I thought DNA only starts to denature at 80 deg.
not sure the alcohol should be because it will change the conditions of the water sort of make it less favourable for the DNA to be suspended. therefore the DNA will aggregate together/precipitate.Originally posted by fudgester:Calling for starblue/hisoka/anyone else trained in life sciences to answer this question...

not electrical imbalance lah, machiam physicsOriginally posted by fudgester:I've already figured out how detergent breaks apart the cell membrane.
And I've found out that the addition of alcohol create an electrical imbalance (since it's non-polar) that has to be corrected by the precipitation of DNA into the alcohol.....
.... but I still can't seem to find out why the alcohol MUST be cold.
And yeah, I'm taking General Bio this semester.
