  URA has a similar implementation in an exhibit .... but i do not believe that the above are actual prototypes yet, they are artist impressions.
  
  miniature projection technologies have not come to this stage of miniaturization to provide a readable projection at 200-300 lumens from a pen sized emitter. it would seem the artist impression is quite accurate, you need very dark room to see it being projected. drawing from currrent CCD technologies, at you will only get SVGA res. laser rendered keyboard from a pen sized renderer still not possible, current precision actuators to create such a accurate keyboard picture will probably be the size of a supermart laser scanner still, not to mention the sensor array... fingers cannot rest on "keys" otherwise input error ...
