  all my phones have been like that
  
  my first was a Ericsson 388.. got taken by mom...
  
  then it was a Sony CDMA.. used it until they scrapped the CDMA network
  
  then it was the Nokia 8210.. it drowned in the washing machine coz i wasn't used to such a small phone and forgot to remove it from pants...
  
  got a N8250 after that.. used it forever...
  
  then mom's phone died.. and she took mine again..
  
  got a samsung N200
  
  used it for 2 years and it cracked after much abuse and dropping...
  
  now with a v3 Razr.. hope it lasts forever
