Tekken and Namco is actually the game and company that saved the Playstation...
it was losing in terms of sales to Sega.. then Tekken 2 came out and it launched a million Playstations...
Namco is a great company.. initially, Tekken 3 was in the arcades with an overclocked Playstation board with lots more RAM...
Sony wanted to launch Tekken 3 with hardware add-ons.. but Namco took the game back and re-wrote the whole game line by line.. until it ran perfectly on the Playstation without slowdowns..

in addition i don't play fighting games on home consoles due to the joypad, i'm more of a arcade person for fighitng since i get to use joysticks there
