Pen-pals have often fallen in love with each other in the pass merely by writing letters to each other.
The net is an even better medium of communication...
But the main thing is - they both have to eventually meet up
Then looks become another issue... unless they have exchanged photos prior to the meet up. -

Sometimes after photos are exchanged...they change their tune and suddenly they lose interest...and you get promoted to 'god-brother'. Geez...who wants to be your 'god-brother'

msn is pretty possible since you are in essence chating and in "real time" too. as alot of pple have said its not the looks but how the other party thinks and reacts etc that matters and that can be seen pretty much thru extensive msn chatting

Actually that is only partially true. Because when you are chatting in MSN, it doesn't allow the other party to see your expression and notice your body language, as well as the other party wun be able to listen to the tone of your voice. Plus chatting in MSN gives u more time to think over what you are supposed to say.
