whampoa market... got nice prawn mee, fish porridge.
the hawker centre at TPY lor 1 got nice rojak, very cheap, two bucks nia.. -
Gluttons' Bay at the Esplanade. The outlets supposedly all set up by hawkers highly recommended by our Makansutra man Seetoh..

Old Airport Road hawker centre.. filled with great foods..
There's 2 stalls selling wanton mee.. both stalls have a lot of makan awards.. The one on e left is not too bad.. just a tad above average.. as for the stall on e right.. it looks like a clinic more with e electronic numbering system.. e quality of e wanton mee of this stall also depends on who's cooking it and e mood of e person cooking it.. this is what i guess la.. cos it's always my friends who ordered for me.. n i had e chance to taste both e heavenly wanton mee n average wanton mee from e same stall.. anyway e crux of e wanton mee is tt e mee is neither too wet nor too dry.. coupled with its melt-in-the-mouth wanton.. it's marvellous!
ok i'll continue next time abt all e other great food in Old Airport Road hawker centre.. to keep my topic alive.. -

i suggest the chicken rice stall(on the 2nd floor) at a queenstown hawker centre. it's just about 100 metres away from a nearby church, it's really good.

like the prawn mee soup at old airport road leh..
haven tasted soup that's as solid as that one.. can taste that its boiled from prawn heads, and not MSG with water. -

The one i'm talking about is near the entrance leh.
They use red plates and serve chilli/ketchup in bottles and give buns before the meal comes. -
