the squirrel blind.Originally posted by crazy monkey:how you managed to get so close ?
squirrels are damn greedy, all you have to do is put your hand inside your pocket, they will think you are going to give it food and come to you, but they are very quick, so even if they are right in front of u, its very hard to catch it. and when u try to catch them they always run up trees and squeak loudly at you, as if to say you are an asshole. but got one time i saw this n00b squirrel sitting on the edge of a rubbish bin eating something, so I pretended I never see it and walk past and suddenly gave it a puch, the squirrel fell inside the rubbish bin and was so mad it started to squeak at me. LOL.Originally posted by crazy monkey:how you managed to get so close ?

tt's sterotyping k...Originally posted by starblue:erm... but carrots really is the rabbit's fav food. in fact, some species of rabbits NEED carrots to survive....
rabbit's teeth grows only when it is worn out. then it stays the same size until it gets worn out a bit then start growing again. if i am not wrong...
but our body also uses huge amount of glu n lipids.. so as long as the usage is greater then or equals to in put, i dun c a reason y u can get fat tt easilyOriginally posted by starblue:erm.. fatty acids and glycerol are the products of digestion of lipids. but these components an be convert from glucose, aminoacids, sphingolipids, steriods and so on. it is WAY easier to get fat then u think. pun intented.
maybe they like apple alsoOriginally posted by hopy:tt's sterotyping k...

erm... actually i meant that you can synthesize adipose very easily cos there are so many metabolic pathways that ccan lead to its synthesis.... the pun that we can get plumb easily is secondary.Originally posted by hopy:but our body also uses huge amount of glu n lipids.. so as long as the usage is greater then or equals to in put, i dun c a reason y u can get fat tt easily
i think there's more pathways leading to the synthesis of glucose then adipose tissue and it is when there r excess of glu then they got converted into adipose tissue as a form of energy storage lorOriginally posted by starblue:erm... actually i meant that you can synthesize adipose very easily cos there are so many metabolic pathways that ccan lead to its synthesis.... the pun that we can get plumb easily is secondary.
erm... glucose we dun say synthesis.. cos glucose only obtained from catabolic activity. and i wanted to mean synthesis of FATS got a lot of pathways.... not adipose (which makes the tires around the tummy). sorry about that... does this make it clearer??Originally posted by hopy:i think there's more pathways leading to the synthesis of glucose then adipose tissue and it is when there r excess of glu then they got converted into adipose tissue as a form of energy storage lor
adipose tissue is the scientific name for fats lor, they r the SAME thingOriginally posted by starblue:keeping in mind that FATS and adipose is not the same.
u know there is such a thing called gluconeogensis, its uses stuff like oxaloacetate to make glucose n glucose is nt juz obtained fr catabolic activities lorOriginally posted by starblue:erm... glucose we dun say synthesis.. cos glucose only obtained from catabolic activity. and i wanted to mean synthesis of FATS got a lot of pathways.... not adipose (which makes the tires around the tummy). sorry about that... does this make it clearer??
