Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
The Phantom Menace starts off when Obi-wan Kenobi was still training to be a Jedi under the supervision of Master Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn. Qui-Gon was a rebellious jedi who seldom listened to the council of the Jedi, a group of weathered master jedi who acted a peace keeping unit in the Galactic Republic. The Republic was generally peaceful except where there was a trade dispute on the planet of Naboo. Qui-Gon and Obi-wan were sent to the planet to settle the disagreement between the trade federation and the people of Naboo. But there was to be no negotiations, the Sith Lord instigated the trade federation to attack the Planet. Qui-Gon and Obi-wan's mission was to save the Queen Amidala of Naboo and take her to the Capital Planet of Corusant for safty.
While rescuing the Queen, the ship they were flying in was damaged badly and needed repair. The ship landed on Tatoonie to get the needed parts. But they lacked the funds necessary to buy the parts. Qui-Gon befriended a young slave boy named Anakin Skywalker who exhibited the force in magnitude. Anakin entered a pod race to win the parts for Qui-Gon and won his freedom as well. With the ship fixed, they took the Queen to Corusant, but before they left Naboo, they ran into a sith jedi, Darth Maul, the right hand man for the future emperor.
The Queen reaches the safty of Corusant and informs the galactic Senate about the attacks on her planet. The Queen returns to her planet with her companions of Qui-Gon, Obi-wan, and young Anakin to try to win her planet back. The planet rises against the trade federation and defeats them. The win is not flawless. Darth Maul finds the Qui-Gon and Obi-wan. They engage in a fierce light saber battle and the only man left standing is Obi-wan. Qui-gin's dying request to his student is to train Anakin, for he is the chosen one. Obi-wan agrees even against the Jedi Council's wishes. -
Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Attack of the Clones takes place ten years after the Phantom Menace. Anakin is now a student of Obi-wan Kenobi and remarkably graceful in wielding the force. Their assistance is requested again by now senator Amidala on Naboo. Some one is trying to assassinate her because if her stance against a proposed army of the republic and the protection of the jedi is needed. Chancellor Palpatine (the future emperor) is trying to get the passage of the army but many, like senator Amidala stand in his way.
On a distant planet of Geonosis, Obi-wan is trying to uncover the ill plots of the trade federation while Anakin is secretly falling in love with Amidala. Anakin is restricted by the jedi code to fall in love as is the senator. Anakin is slowly drifting towards the dark side of the force. He is giving into his rage and anger, the way of the dark side. Meanwhile an army of clones is discovered by Obi-wan and is supposedly enacted by a jedi who doesn't exist. The Republic adopts the army and concedes all power to Palpatine. On Geonosis, Obi-wan is captured by the new right had of the sith lord, Count Dooku. Anakin and Amidala try to rescue Obi-wan but are captured. But in the nick of time, Yoda and the clone army rescue them. The Army of the trade federation and the new clone army engage in battle and he trade federation is defeated on Geonosis. But in the pursuit of Count Dooku is not as successful. Obi-wan and Anakin try to attack Dooku but almost die. Master Yoda intercepts Dooku before he is able to kill them. Dooku escapes, but he is able to cut off the arm of Anakin and hurt Obi-wan.
At the end of Attack of the Clones, Anakin and Amidala secretly get married, even though they are forbidden to do so. The power of the Republic is in the hands of the corrupt Palpatine, and the Lord of the sith and Count Dooku are still at large. -

Episode IV: A New Hope
A New Hope is what this movie is really about. The Story takes place a long time in a galaxy far far away. The galaxy is in turmoil between two groups: the Galactic Empire and the rebel forces. The Rebels are trying to over throw the grip of the repressive empire and are failing miserably. Unknown to the rebel forces, the savior of the galaxy is a farm boy from the desolate planet of Tatoonie. Luke Skywalker once introduced to Obi-Wan Kenobi via a pair of rebel droids (R2D2 and C3P0), found himself on the path of a jedi. The Jedi were a group of peace keepers in the Old days of the republic, before the evil empire. Obi-Wan Kenobi is a jedi who would teach Luke in the ways of the force. Luke, along with the help of Han Solo, Chewacca, Obi-wan, and his droid companions, were able to rescue Princess Leia out of a man made planet fortress station named the death star. They also managed to slip through the grip of Darth Vader an evil jedi who is on the side of the empire who would not let the aged Obi-wan escape. Obi-wan was Darth Vader's teacher before he became evil was found out in a light saber battle, that only takes place between two jedi. At the Climatic end of the movie, Luke destroyed the Death Star and the Empire's momentum in the was switched to the rebels -
Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
The Empire Strikes Back (is so far) the darkest of the Star Wars movies. The Empire finds the location of a rebel base on Hoth, a desolate frozen planet and attacks. Before the Empire attacks the Planet, Luke is summoned by the ghost of Obi-wan Kenobi and told to seek Yoda, the Jedi Master on the planet of Dagobah. The rebels flee the onslaught of empire and are scattered across the galaxy. Boba Fett a bounty hunter tracks down Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, and the droids (C3P0 &R2D2) to Cloud City in the planet of Bespin where they are captured by Darth Vader. Darth Vader, who wants Luke, uses his friends as bait to lure Luke out of training with Yoda. This interrupts his training as a jedi, and Yoda is weary for Luke to face the more powerful Vader. Luke does not listen to Yoda and goes to face Vader alone at Bespin.
Meanwhile at Bespin, Darth Vader wants to make sure the Emperor can get Luke in one piece, so he thinks he can freeze Luke in the Carbon Freezer. He tests this on Han Solo and gives the Frozen Solo to Boba Fett to give to Jabba the Hutt. When Like arrives at Bespin he engages in a light saber battle with Darth Vader. Vader proves to be too much for the young untrained jedi to handle and ends up losing a hand to Darth Vader. Then Darth Vader reveals to Luke that he is Luke's father. Luke manages to escape and saved by Princess Leia. -
Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Return of the jedi starts with the quest to find and rescue Han Solo form Jabba the Hutt. Han, who is still frozen in Carbonite, is hung on Jabba's Palace wall on Luke's home planet of Tatoonie. Luke , along with the help of Chewbacca, the droids, and Princess Leia, rescue Han. After the rescue, Luke returns to Dagobah to finish his training with Master Yoda. Yoda, now nearly 900 years old, confirms that Darth Vader is his father before he dies. Luke is now visited by the ghost of Obi-wan Kenobi and told that he must face his father. Obi-wan also tells Luke he has a twin Sister, Leia, so his efforts are not in vain if he dies, "there is another."
Meanwhile, the Empire is trying to rebuild the death star with Darth Vader supervision off of the Planet of Endor. The rebels, if they attack now can destroy the empire once and for all. Luke goes on the mission to destroy the death star and surrenders to the Imperials. They take him to Vader. Luke tries to persuade Darth Vader to go to the light side of the force but is unsuccessful. Darth Vader takes Luke to the Sith Lord, Darth Vader's Master. The Emperor makes Luke battle his father in a test of Light saber battle. Who ever wins the match will be the new right-hand-man of the emperor. Luke refuses to fight and is punished by the emperor. Darth Vader cannot stand to see his son be destroyed in front of him kills the emperor and receives a mortal wound. The rebel forces destroy the death star and leaving the empire leaderless, the rebels win the war. Luke and the republic are victorious. -
