Why have Public Holidays on Tuesdays and Thursdays???

The best days for a public holiday are Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
The worst day to have a public holiday is on Saturday.
Anyway, since the govt has been pushing for a five-day workweek, then I think that they should give a public holiday in lieu every time one falls on a Saturday. -
