NUS Special Term

Applications for the NUS Special Term will be coming out soon.
I'm seriously considering it if I don't get an internship over the holidays. I can then clear 1x UEM over the holidays and be left with just six modules to clear in my final year.
Anyone here thinking of going for it?

But come to think about it, it may be worth the expense rather than having to deal with one extra module when I'm saddled with the FYP. -

But I poor man, every cent counts. If I'm paying an amount in a normal sem, why take modules in the special term that charges the same amount per module. Not worth it for me.
FYI, I've been taking just 20 MCs every sem, except this current sem 18 MCs (6 for my FYP and 12 for my 3 modules), one of my module is pretty slack and another just requires you to be very clever.
I'm handling my FYP just fine, pretty alright, though I am still doing some last minute work to polish my FYP. -

For my UEM I actually have only 2 MCs left to clear. Which is why I'm thinking of getting it out of the way over the holidays if I don't get an internship.
And heck, I think I can still work part-time and earn some money on the days that I don't have to go back to school. After all, if I do go for special sem, I'll most likely use up my final S/U for it.
I'm looking at my other options as well like UROPS. -

ST1131: free frag module (JC maths)
GEK1527: mcq exams
LSM1301: open book mcq. I took this before...
PL1101E: I'm a psych major so I would say this is fun.

LSM1301: Taking it this current semester.
ST1131: I doubt I can go for this... most likely it has already been precluded by the three engineering Maths core modules that I've already taken.
Not many choices I can go for.
