Give them to me lah dey....Originally posted by CoolMyth:CORS is definitely accessible.
If you mean Sem 3 in the Special Term, then yes, I think you are still protected. But as said, you go Year 2, there will be new Year 1s, and hence protection goes to them, not you.
How to spend almost 3,000 pts in Programme and 2,000 pts in General after I graduate ah?![]()

okays seriousi need help! heres my situation.. i really wanna take pc1432 (its a breath module.. not preallocated to mech eng students so we gotta bid for it ourselves) next sem but all my friends are bidding for FNA in order because they wanna fulfill their sartor module.. but i dont wanna take FNA the next sem!... maybe later..
coolmyth u mentioned that there was this special sem in year 2 that we're protected... so we'll be competing with fellow year 2s? care to tell me more abt it sem? cos if it is so i'll prob bid for the fna module during that sem..
so sorry.. still a freshie.. alot of things unsure.. ;p many thanks! =)
oh btw, for status pc1432, the lowest bid now is 1, and the highest bid is 1500+.. currently only 40 people bidded and there are 100 vacancies. most probably i'll get the module la..![]()
Planning to take my second SARTOR this coming semester. Principles of Econs. I heard it ought to be pretty straightforward for those with Econs background.Originally posted by deathscythe99:There's enough spaces for you all guys....
As long as u bid within rd 1, shld be cfm get.
If u never get PC1432, go ka jiao that Engine Admin.
Try to take ur SARTOR earlier else u might have trouble fitting timetables when ur core mods become something like 4 to 5 a semester.
Yeah.... for most of your core mods (except for maybe CTW and HR - the two most redundant core Engin modules, by the way), one point will be enough.Originally posted by hisoka:bidding? sounds fun!!
aiyah those pc1432 just bid one point can le. never bid also confirm can take de, just go and find the admin
no lah not totally redundant, i got friends who got gf/bf thru those 2 modulesOriginally posted by fudgester:Yeah.... for most of your core mods (except for maybe CTW and HR - the two most redundant core Engin modules, by the way), one point will be enough.

that and go request for exception quuting the lecturerOriginally posted by fudgester:I'd like to ask you guys....
I've applied for ME3102 in Round 1A. The lecturer for this module has stated that there's only one lecture in this module, and that we can apply for other modules whose lectures clash with its lecture timeslot.
However, CORS is barring me from applying for another module (ME4212) whose lecture clashes with the ME3102 lecture.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? Do I have to ask the ME4212 lecturer to include me in manually?![]()
Sigh... I called the CORS helpline, and they told me to call the ME department.Originally posted by hisoka:that and go request for exception quuting the lecturer
Sounds good...Originally posted by fudgester:If all goes well with the bidding, I'll be going for the following modules this coming semester:
2 x ME Core modules (Engin Prof, Design project)
1 x Aero technical elective (Compressible Flow)
1 x SARTOR (Principles of Econs)
2 x Science GEM (Understanding the Universe, Comp Methods for Basic Finance)
I only have the ME core mods and the TE confirmed - I'm bidding for the other three modules in this round.
What about you guys?
