Only 171 serves Orchard leh -

Right now I'm taking three buses to school:
196 from Marine Parade to Tanjong Rhu
30 from Tanjong Rhu to Pasir Panjang (behing KR Hall)
183/188 from Pasir Panjang to Engin.
Total time: 1hr 20min. -

Besides, as fast as 48 is, its frequency leaves much to be desired. I can end up waiting 20-25 minutes for it.
There's also the MRT, but I still need to take connecting buses. The travelling time would still be in the region of 1hr 10min - 1hr 20min. Hardly any diff there. -

48, you can get the schedule -> www.sbstransit.com.sg search for bus service enquire, type in Sv 48, enter the route details.. There would be hyperlinks, those are the estimated arrival time... Or you can provide me the bus stop detail, I gibe you the estimated arrival time

i always took 151 to engin and walked in unless i was using bus pass and saw an empty 96 behind

As it stands the 196 - 30 - 183 route gives me the fastest travelling time at the lowest possible cost.
I turn to the MRT during peak hours when ECP is jammed. -

1hr 45min during off-peak hours. It gets worse during peak hours when CBD is congested.
And it's a long, long walk from KR terminal to Engin.
The 196-30-183 route gets me to Engin in 1hr 20min with little walking. -
Hopefully Sv 48 can be extended to Kent Ridge
Maybe the load would improve, current frequency is 14-19 mins -
Got shuttle bus that commute between the two campuses right?
I think I saw them. One "BTC" and the other "KRH", I think.

Might as well take 151 from Ctrl Lib
