  Heys! Decided to add a chatbox for those interested in trekking....a start for now, for you guys to share the places you've been, to communicate and discuss about more areas to explore!
  
  
  
  For me, I've been trekking for a year, been to:
  - Sabah (KK)
  - Mt Ophir
  - Gunung Stong
  - Berkelah
  - Chiling Waterfalls
  - Gunung Datuk
  - Gunung Angsi

  I've only taken part in overnight local urban photo-walks, hardly as exciting as hill-treks.
  
  1.Tekka Serangoon Road Lavender Street Balestier Road Thomson Road
  
  2.Raffles Place Robertson Quay River Valley Somerset Scotts Road Orchard Road Selegie Bencoolen Bras Basah Benjamin Sheares Bridge
  
  3. Any ideas?

  Scouts hikes counted?
  
  From Tanah Merah MRT, to Ang Mo Kio MRT, down Bukit Timah Road, to Jurong East Interchange
  
  From 7pm in the evening to 7am the next morning
  
  Otherwise, I hiked around my hometown

  Trek from parklane , dhoby ghaut , somerset , dhoby ghaut , bugis , city hall , raffles place, outram park , tiong bahru , redhill , queenstown , commonwealth , bouna vista , clementi , and finally back home jurong east from 3.45am till 8.35am .

  With next to nothing to do, and a new digicam in my possession, I've been doing trekking over the past few days. On my first day I managed to trek from Changi Point to my home in Marine Parade... a distance of roughly 18km after counting all the detours and recons.

  Just did Marsiling on Sunday... it was nice.. we found some wild durians, opened them immediately and ate them
  
  I like walks around Singapore. Been almost a year since I trekked and camp outside.. last destination was Gunung Panti.
  
  There's a Tapis waterfall trip coming up.. think I'll go if my work allows me to...
  
  Been to foot of Gunung Stong!!! It was silly.. hubby and I thought the resort still exists!! It sure was still open for reservations on the internet (but we figure low season so shouldnt be difficult just walking in)... imagine our shock when we walked into a completely isolated ghost resort! We had planned to do stong on a day trek and stay at the resort so did not bring enough food/tentage etc.. AND it was pouring non stop so spent whole afternoon trying to chit chat with Malay security guard (we can't speak Malay well. He can't speak English) and it was quite fun afterall

  I'm planning to do a North-East walk. I'll be walking from Marine Parade to Punggol, following SBS service no.43 all the way.
