went down to china square central and far east plaza today. these are what i found out.
Next week new stock of reissued MP-01 Optimus Prime will be coming! cheapest price i found is $120.
MP-03 Starscream, price is around $140+. MP-04 Optimus Prime + trailer is around $260 to $280. most shops already can place pre-order. -

the toy is finally released today!
$130 at china square central. 1 major improvement of this compared with MP01 Otipmus Prime is that Starscreen is a lot lighter in weight.

MP-01 Optimus Prime has two versions, one made in 2003 while another in 2006... 2003 MP-01 sucks as the finishing was bad, even the joints were loose and easier fall out of place... A lot of people are getting rid of the 2003 MP-01 at around $100 plus...
Me bought the 2006 MP-04 Optimus Prime with trailer ($270) and MP-01 Optimus Prime ($250) and the details are even better than 2003 MP-01... Didn't regret buying but got some naggings from my wife though... -

initially i was also surprised that there was no die-cast parts. i even asked the boss at CSC (Vincent's toys) how come the box is so light.
actually i support the idea. it's much lighter and easier to display.
as for the colouring, sure the colours might not look like the classic starscream since it's modelled after the real F15 afterall. my only complain is that it seems too dark. other than that i'm fine. -
I hope they reissue a anime accurate one in the future...maybe e-hobby.
