Sometimes the popular modules are made harder just to put off those who wants to apply for it in the future...

Well, maybe it's possible, but highly unlikely considering that you get more and more bidding points at the start of every semester. So if you can't get the required modules in Yr 1 and Yr 2 you can really show hand and throw in thousands of points in Yr 3 and Yr 4.Originally posted by laurence82:I think i asked my friend b4

Of course, the possible end result of this is that Yr 1 students may end up taking Yr 3 modules, and vice versa.
I think Lazerlordz is better informed in this... For me, my core engineering modules are all guaranteed and I only have to spend one point for each of them. -

But the lecturer will be upset at getting a larger class and might purposely do things like setting hard exams etc..
