Overseas uni also slowly following the trend. Offering only certain modules during certain semesters only. There is a price to pay, some first year students have to take a 4th year module. -

NUS seems to be a whole lot more concerned about its ranking in the list of world universities than the general welfare of its students.
I can still remember how the website once proudly proclaimed that it was in the Top 20 of world's best universities (when it was No.18 ).
Now that it has slipped to No.22, it has modified the proclamation to say 'NUS in top quartile of world's best universities'.
Go figure. -
