Still Learning

My manager told me that when she was studying in Canada, Whenever someone in her class fails a paper, instead of putting "FAIL" on the paper and report card, the lecturer will put 'Still Learning".
I find this is a very creative and caring way to motivate students. 'FAIL' sounds so harsh and demoralising, give me a feeling like i'll never succeed again. On the other hand, 'Still Learning' sounds more encouraging. It also gave me an impression that the lecturer cares about his students.

maybe you can bring this up to our education ministry.

i think it's kinda stupid! all of us are still learning for life, does that mean we are a failure?
the lecturer should put, "Keep Trying" or "Try Harder" instead.
