Macromedia and Adobe are very well-supported for Mac, and I would say, optimised for Mac.
Music..Windows Media Player, iTunes, and please get VLC player.It is very important and vital, not to mention damn idiot-proof
*Firewire 2nd gen is inbuilt in the iBook.
Anyway, since you are only going to use this on campus, it should not be too inconvenient..and being proficient in two OS is a good thing![]()
