USB lan?

i have just bought this thing called usb lan.....in hope of getting wireless....this thing have a phone line jack like port at the back what needs to be connected into the phoneline jack like slot in order to connect to internet?is it a USB ADAPTER btw?

Good luck! You've just bought the wrong thing... From your description, it's more like a USB-LAN adapter, not actually a USB LAN... then what is the correct thing to buy...i saw at national lib (victoria st) people just attached small piece of card or what to their laptop den surf the internet they go...what is that card and is it compatiable with p2 laptops?Originally posted by dork3d:Good luck!
