lillies.. i have stacks of the white and pink ones...
will trade them for yellow ones

is it the type that is always sold during CNY......
cos during the CNY period, this friend of my mom always gives her a pot of stuff that LOOKS like the one posted...
i dunno what it's called english.....but in chinese it's called 'shui3 xian1'....(i hope i got the hypy right...

Lilies or narcissus?
The flower I see does not look like a lily (but could be another species I'm ignorant of) and neither does it look like the flower in the pic noopi posted... -
how is the leaves like? hollow inside?
i still think the best way to know the answer is to ask the owner. if he/she offers you part of the part, why not?
otherwise you can go to a nursery with the picture and ask the people there. -

The plant is a type of sunloving groundcover with bulbs(onion-like storage stem) underground. Botanical name: Zephyllanthus candidus, common name: Rain lilies (reason being flowers more the next few days after rain!). Other species with yellow and pink inflorecen. Some with bigger flowers.

Now to wait for the moment my neighbor steps out... then I'll try to seduce her into giving me a bulb to grow. and then I'll swop with my uncle!

mookie, you can have the white and pink ones if you want.. no need for swap... i just found out i do have some yellow ones.. just that they're very outnumbered by the other two..
