  Those green leafy vege that are imported from M'sia, can also live in Sg.
  
  Actually, just about anything, if you want to build a greenhouse.

  What do you mean by ground?
  
  Seeds tend to sprout better in those "flossy" type of soil which allows them to breathe...just keep the soil moist and when sprouted, keep the young shoots from strong sun until they grow bigger. The packs of seed would also have some instructions about planting.

  I think most kind of vegetable are suitable in sg..
  I tyring growing,
  chilli, lime, potatos, lemon,garlic and sweet potatos..
  Have disover growing , kangkong , and chai xin..

  Well i have grown kang kong , cauliflower , carrot ( although not much success rate ) , tomatoes , corn , chilli padi , calabash aka hulu , spearmint , japanese cucumber , cotton plant . Learned gardening from an old vegefarmer . You need strong sunlight and to water them everyday to grow vegetables so that they will grow up nice n strong n big fleshy leaves . One most popular choice of fertilizer is chicken shit which is best and cheapest . And before you plant the seeds , loosen the soil , plant the seed abt 1 cm deep from the surface of the soil then cover with some fertilizers and water them everyday . A fresh seed will grow up faster then those dried ones . Happy gardening .

  You need to plant them abt 1cm into the soil my dear friend . But nevermind , just take it as an experience learned . I myself also make some mistakes here n then .

  i bought a packet of seeds to grow sunflowers...if i grow them in a pot, must i only have one seed in a pot? can i grow a few seeds in a pot?

  Well it has been proven that plants planted in soil has the best quality in terms of taste and quality . You can plant a few seeds in 1 pot but however when the seedlings grow up , you have to put 1 seedlings in 1 pot for them to grow healthily . Because when you put several plants in 1 pot , they have to compete and share the nutrients inside the pot . Ok for seedlings but not good for grown up plants . Currently me looking for not so common plants to grow .
