Diving Photos - Perhentain, Malayisa

Hi.... just came back from my Perhentain dive trip. Perhentain island is really 2 island close together...... Know as Perhentain Big & small. Located on the East coast of Malaysia, in the state of Terengganu. We were staying at the 'BIG' island.....
As you can see.... nice white sandy beaches + clear waters......
Sadly, we were there too ealy into the diving season..... the visibility under water is not good..... on the avg only 5-7 metres. Compair to Similan (thailand) or Manado (indoneasia) visibility of 25-40 metres.... it suxs. Also not much good stuff to see. Hope you guys/gals enjoy the photos.

False Clown Anemonfish...... very easy to find around here.
2 differencve type of soft Coral.
Close-up shot of a Crown-Of-Thorns Starfish. The 'thorns' are really soft and not hard at all..... skin like in feeling.

2 difference type of hard coral
Sea Urchin.... always liked the Blue glowing ring thingy when take close-up shots.
Some type of Sand Goby fish....
Female Tomato Anemonefish....
More corals..... sorry.... not such a good trip. Boring photos.

Nice pictures but maybe its time to push your capabilities 1 notch higher. Concentrating on compositions and behavoir of marine life.. Instead ,of just point and shoot. Great sets... anyways

Hahaha.... point & shot is all i good at. False Clown Anemonefish.... the anemone is surround by hard coral....
Small little Hermit Crab.....
Sea Cucumber.... nicer looking type.... some could be real ugly
Surpise surpise..... A Zebra Lionfish. Never saw one in Malaysia waters....
Some type of soft coral..... curled up for protection.... I think.
A type of sea anemone.... from close-up looks like soft grass on a windy day.

That's cos u need proper setup if you're doing photography trips.. to them ur group are just doing a dive trip not photo trip. So next time u plan one.. try telling ur operator or organizers, your plan...

Female Tomato Anemonefish inside this strangely 'Orange' Anemone.... just 1 of this "orange' Anemone in the whole area....
The male version of the Tomato Anemonefish......

Correct.. but priority shd have been for photographers and a gd operator or Dm should know that... On our trips, we make sure the photographers and divers are seperated.
