There 's been a lot of new tar-ing of roads in the city too....bras basah area.
Spend lots of money...
This is absolutely, terribly poor management.Originally posted by sbst275:Yeah
But Sat, they never bothered to deploy more buses, put frequency at 30 mins, 300 ppl left stranded
Have to write to PTC liao, write to SBS, the fellows will go into hiding since the event is over
Hasn't seen him log in yet.Originally posted by sbst275:Levels up!~

Rainy morning.....good to take mc?![]()
Fine liao so what...from left pocket to right pocket. Customers loogi....in the end....have to pay higher fares to cover up their fines?Originally posted by sbst275:The only thing is to fine them
Got mah...like when you're tired, dun feel like going to work - that's a good time.Originally posted by sbst275:There's not really a 'good' time to take MC one de
If they are caught doing this, it goes to show that the ones that are mgmt the bus deployment has no sense of responsibilityOriginally posted by Wanda:Fine liao so what...from left pocket to right pocket. Customers loogi....in the end....have to pay higher fares to cover up their fines?![]()

They can't pass it on, but you'll never know, after all, they're still making millions, esp. after every fare increase. They're pure evil.Originally posted by sbst275:If they are caught doing this, it goes to show that the ones that are mgmt the bus deployment has no sense of responsibility
In the 1st place, they can't pass it on
Har? you ltns your babies?Originally posted by sbst275:Wahahahahah
Long time no see Baby
But you see Britian's case, they say back then when they are nationalised industries, they said they wun make any profitsOriginally posted by Wanda:They can't pass it on, but you'll never know, after all, they're still making millions, esp. after every fare increase. They're pure evil.![]()
No lahOriginally posted by Wanda:Har? you ltns your babies?![]()
I think the only fair thing is to collect the fines, put into a fund to serve the public, and not go into some PTC or govt's pocket lah...TMD!Originally posted by sbst275:But you see Britian's case, they say back then when they are nationalised industries, they said they wun make any profits
But it ended up disaster, year aft year making losses and govt had to support them by 'bailing' them out
I can understand what you mean, but the best way is the carrot and stick approach, fine if you did not deliver the min sv obligation, better profits if you serve it well
If things are served properly and with better productivity, SBS would defintely be making better profits and need not rely on fare hikesOriginally posted by Wanda:I think the only fair thing is to collect the fines, put into a fund to serve the public, and not go into some PTC or govt's pocket lah...TMD!![]()
I just find the kns principle of it wrong...how can the profit of a co providing a public service be directly proportionate to the amount of hardship it inflicts on the poor ppl (by raising fares every year)?Originally posted by sbst275:If things are served properly and with better productivity, SBS would defintely be making better profits and need not rely on fare hikes
That's why need to clean up the current mess, double decks ought to be deployed are not deployedOriginally posted by Wanda:I just find the kns principle of it wrong...how can the profit of a co providing a public service be directly proportionate to the amount of hardship it inflicts on the poor ppl (by raising fares every year)?
So i think public svc shd not be privatised.
I think we shd have reached the stage whereby even if nationalised, excesses and inefficiency will not be tolerated. E.g. the cut waste panel has help to cut out some excesses. A matter of good management and control.Originally posted by sbst275:That's why need to clean up the current mess, double decks ought to be deployed are not deployed
But nationalising is no way either, it gives the operator thinking that anything happens, the govt will bail them out.. Look at Malaysia Airline System aft so many years of bailing outs
