Last week at lunchtime, I saw a lady in Jap kimono and wearing those click-clock wood sandals, walking opposite NLB leh...almost could not believe it, and I wondered if she worked in some Jap restaurant. She looked very nice, though not nec. a real Jiponeese.Originally posted by monkeybusiness:last time i saw 2 gals wearing those gothic lolita fashion in sg

only my 1st time there, so dun dare to recommendOriginally posted by cornyfish2000:I'll be going hongkong tomorrow.. any recommendations of where to visit/eat/shop? Or for that matter, anywhere not worth going?
More for sightseeing.. it's a free and easy package to HK taking advantage of the SIA HK offer with a 1 day tour of Shenzhen thrown in. Anyway i suppose shopping prices there are not that different from Singapore right?Originally posted by poon cho tang:only my 1st time there, so dun dare to recommend
but it depends on wot u want? u go there for shopping or sightseeing?
shopping got lotsa shopping centres, abt the same as singapore
sightseeing can go to the rural areas
i went to these places during the 4 days:
stanley market - disappointment
temple street - ok, betta than the pasar malams at our chinatown
ocean park - ok la, the cable car ride is sumting different
ladies market - similar to temple street but a little bit smaller
avenue of stars - the symphony of lights is a disappointment
wong ta shin n chi lin nunnery - ok for sightseeing
if u're buyin stuff... acc to my fren the shops will order a certain quantity, den when its sold out, its sold out. they dun restock.Originally posted by cornyfish2000:More for sightseeing.. it's a free and easy package to HK taking advantage of the SIA HK offer with a 1 day tour of Shenzhen thrown in.
