Grrr...i hate these mealy bugs...once they're there, very difficult to get rid of, and will kill the plants...and they look like aliens.Originally posted by a_splash:plant kenna white bug....haizzzz.....
The soil cannot be too muddy....best is the hoo hoo type (like bak hoo texture), and they need lots of sun. Used to have them at an old office window and they did well....but I realised too late that it's bad feng shui to have cactus in the office.Originally posted by a_splash:cactus that neber grow one...same like my gold fishes...they are same size months in months out....more than two yrs liao i think....
I grew them from packed seeds ....they came with the hoo hoo/mossy sprouting soil, but more than half failed to sprout...only got 2 normal, and 2 dwarf plants now.Originally posted by a_splash:![]()

Will need to re-pot the two 15cm ones into a bigger pot soon and place sticks (I used cut bamboo stems) to support...altho' they may not come to fruition coz my corridor got no sunlight and is darn windy. I wonder, can we just put the stick in while the plant is growing...like that will damage the roots?![]()
