The authorities aim to educate people about the risks of bird flu, using TV, newspaper and poster campaigns. -
They have also launched a widespread programme of vaccination of poultry, as well as birds living in zoos and people's homes. -
But for ordinary people life goes on, with many people handling chickens in the same way they always have.
