Head Administration, NPCC
The Head Administration manages the day-to-day administration relating to NPCC expenditure and all financial matters relating to the personnel and the Corps. All IT matters (such as the maintenance of the NPCC website) will come under the purview of this department. The officer serves as Honorary Treasurer of the NPCC Officers' Welfare Fund and Secretary at Senior Staff Officers meeting as well as Commandant's conferences with Assistant Commandants. The officer is responsible in updating the NPCC Duty Post and Monthly Reports to the NPCC Council.
Head Human Resource, NPCC
The Head Human Resource plans and monitors the manpower requirements of the Corps. The officer also manages the day-to-day administration relation to NPCC personnel and the maintenance of their up-to-date statistics and records, including matters relating to welfare (i.e. promotions, awards and incentives) and discipline of officers and cadets. The officer directs and controls the distribution of Honorary Officers, Honorary Instructors and Cadet Inspectors and their postings to school units.
Head Operations
The Head Operations plans and executes schedules for the training and practices for Parades, Competitions and other activities such as the Police Sports Invitation Relays, Inter-Uniformed Youth Organizations games and the National Camp Opening and Closing Ceremonies. The officer also serves as Secretary on the NPCC Standing Committee on Discipline and Welfare.
Head Training (Development)
The Head Training (Development) organizes and formulates the Training Syllabi pertaining to the development of Officers and cadets of the NPCC. The officer is also responsible for preparing, reviewing and updating all training materials. The officer monitors the NPCC (Sea) Units. The officer serves as Recording Secretary for the NPCC Standing Committee on Training and as Honorary Secretary of NPCC Training and Welfare Reserve Fund.
Head Training (Field)
The Head Training (Field) organizes and formulates the Training Programmes / Syllabi pertaining to outdoor activities for NPCC Officers and cadets. Head Training (Field) is also responsible for assisting with the maintenance of training media. The officers is the staff authority for overall running of the campsite, including scheduling annual Adventure Training Camps at Pulau Ubin for all units and liaise with Head Corporate Service for the maintenance of the campsite. The officer serves as Honorary Treasurer of the NPCC Training and Welfare Reserve Fund.
Head Leadership and Community Services
The Head Leadership & Community Services, NPCC, is a new portfoilio created wef Jan 2005. Head Leadership & Community Services sees to the advanced development of the youth leaders in NPCC from the age of 17 to 25. Head Leadership & Community Services also oversees the community partnership of NPCC with external affiliates, partners and organisations in the form of programmes, events and activities and functions, with relevance to the NPCC programme.
Head Corporate Services
The Head Corporate Services is responsible for the Corps' logistical requirements such as issuing of camping equipment, uniforms, boots, accessories etc. The officer is also responsible for the maintenance of equipment and inventory control and the formulation of Standard Operating Procedures on matters pertaining logistics. The officer authorises the release of arms and ammunitions for NPCC weaponry programme and is also responsible for conducting inspections on armouries in school NPCC Units to ensure that weapons are properly maintained by Units and security measures are strictly adhered to.
Supervisor, General Office (SGO)
The officer supervises the administrative and financial aspects of NPCC and the work of the general office civilian staff. The officer looks into drafting annual budget estimates, with input from Staff Officers of NPCC Headquarters and provides support service for all NPCC functions/events.
Financial Officer
The officer is responsible for putting up payment vouchers for the OOE funds of MOE and SPF. The duties include collection of revenue from sale of stores. The officer assists in financial aspects of NPCC HQ and keying in quarterly duty allowance.
Registry Clerk
The officer assists the Supervisor, General Office in providing administrative support to the NPCC. The officer is responsible in the handling and monitoring files, correspondences, mails and circulars. The officer assists in the issue of NPCC magazines and recruitment materials to NPCC Units.
CO Personnel
The officer maintains the personnel records of NPCC officers and cadets and assists in the preparation of statistical reports. The area of duty encompasses processing, monitoring and updating the enrolment, transfer and discharge of NPCC cadets and officers. The officer also maintains the record of NPCC officers who are emplaced in the NPCC Reserve Holding List.
Leave & Stationery Clerk
The officer maintains the leave records of all the staff in NPCC HQ and is responsible for the safe custody of all leave documents. The officer is responsible for replenishing stationery and maintaining the required stock levels. The officer also helps in maintenance of office equipment and computers, assists in the issue of NPCC magazines and recruitment materials to NPCC Units.
