  Yea...learnt it the hard way...
  
  Realised that another guy had feelings for this girl I liked, and actually had a headstart in letting her know his feelings, even though he came into the picture later, whilst I was still wondering whether I really liked her or was it just friendliness towards me. I had even suspected of him liking her for some time, and I did tell her...but never did I tell her my true feelings. Now, he's in the picture, I'm not.
  
  And the revealation...hurts.
  
  And she said that we'll still be friends even though it has become like this, even though you won't know what happens in the future.
  
  He was faster in declaring, whilst I was not. There's something between them, which I did not know.
  
  But deep down inside, I felt hurt and a pang of jealousy strike through me. Could not entertain the thought of her holding hands with another guy. Yet, this is the outcome.
  
  Felt really stupid, really lousy, and really angry with myself (that's why I'm posting here)
  
  I guess we do learn from life, we learn from expressing our true feelings, yet, I've been hurt. I resisted myself from telling her my true feelings as I felt I needed to know her more, but I guess I was wrong. Whoever says it first, gets the higher rank of being chosen.
  
  And I'm now down to 2nd fiddle. Yea.
  
  I'll be hurt for a couple of days, months, but I guess I'll be alright. School is a place to heal wounds? Would it? Or would it just leave me more stressed and re-open the wound in my heart?

  i was Fucked that way too. =D, i was always a good advisor to my friends, but when it comes to my own relationships, i'd just Fuck things over. it was really weird at one point because when i was chasing her, she wouldnt give in, and when i stopped, she started chasing me, and i wouldnt give in.. i mean what the Fuck was i thinking.. i saw it happening, had everything laid out in front of me, and i still Fucked it up.

  Definitely . Take time to heal, and move on. Now that she's into a fresh new relationship, I don't think she'll have time nor intent to look around yet.
  
  Ultimately most women leave the active chasing to the men and prefer to be more on the passive side or just quietly encourage. i.e. hint

  i think the part that hurts the most is having lost the chance of expressing yourself when you had the chance to.. and then thinking back of all the things you could have done. well, you're right, its time to move on.
  
  as for me, i have moved on quite awhile ago, but her name has been engraved in my heart from the start. i will never be able to totally forget her, and there is always a part of me that loves her.

  time will slowly eraser her from ur heart but there will still b a scar left behind. these few weeks, months will b very tough but as time pass, u will feel more numbed. jus remember, theres still sgforums here. in the meantime, try looking ard u? mayb theres some1 else tat can connect with u.

  I've told her how I felt, (okay, maybe not all) and I hope that I get an answer.
