hmmm.....this question like very wide and vast leh.....
depends on wat is the topic and regards to wat.....
To impress with knowledge...basically u need to talk confidently and intelligently. when toking to a gal....u have to impress her with all ur answers pertaining to the topic....
i.e....about politics....u need to have onhand who and who is our ministers and who and who is in-charge of which area....
about countries ....u need to update wat is world news and wat is happening at the other end of the world....
also depends on the age of the gal u toking about bah.....u dun tok politics and world news to a 18 or 19 yr old rite....

Dont talk politics, ex gfs, etc.. A girl wil be impressed to a certain degree with academic knowledge if she is studious type eg. nerd. As for me, humour works, and deep, insightful knowledge..and general knowledge..
recently i found sarcasm works..but in a negative and damn anonying way for me... so much for wanting to be left alone

To impress a girl, be careful of appearing too cocky. If she's intelligent both of you happen to be into a certain topic/subject then you can let your intelligence shine through pertaining to the topic. But if she's a not so bright everage intelligence girl like most of us are, then just tell her about little tid bits of interesting facts to entertain and amuse her. No use telling her so much cheem stuff she won't understand. It might make her feel inferior.

Knowledge is not the oni thing a lady looks into.
Knowledge shows how well you hold facts but that does not mean one can hold a conversation. That'll just bore anyone down I suppose. If I were to use another word "Intellectual" would be it.
And being Intellectually inclined does not say one is knowledgeable at all front but to be able to use, twist, add a dash of humour or being serious at the right time and sumtimes.. at the right place.
Just be yourself, if she likes you for what you are... isn't that good at all? -
