now i at home practise also screw up...always tongue tied...loss for words etc...

try to remember the main pts of ur presentation n mayb write it on a small card so tat u can refer from. try to relax b4 the presentation.

try to talk slower and also, as fyp is a group work, it'll be good if you use terms like "my group and I" or "we" instead of telling them specifically what each of you had done as individuals. eg. "my group and i worked on this program and from there, we designed the hardware" while in actual fact, the programming may be done by you and ur team members did the hardware.

Jus relax...take it ez....lik tokin to ur frans....dun b nervous, take ur time in tokin but to straight to e point n nt ard e bush! Pratice make it perfect!!

on eye contact... u must look across teh room... not just the tutor or whoever s/he is..
try Z or W...
den.. a tip would be look them at their foreheads, not that scary.
keep open palms.. dun clench them or wat..
dun fiddle with wateva u have in ur hands

initially ok...then my tongue decided it had a brain on its own...
as for eye contact. i purposely look at them then my eyes focus on a point in front of them,, so they appear out of focus... -

dun worry so much.... talk like normal wen u r talking to the lecturers... SP lecturers all okie one la... no fear... dun think it as a presentation... take it as u telling them ur findings n report

yeah.... SP..... my fyp presentation muz maintain eye contact so though i see my lecturer n the other presentors but i dun take it dat they r around i just blah blah blah my piece... take them as trees.... hahaha..... wad i expect from the lecturer is just nodding onli...Originally posted by bismarck:i hope so.

me last time sp too
my group FYP was to design a new general elective module....
so during presentation...it ended up being like a salesman-selling session....
not much pressure arh..ended up speaking hokkien to them...then the question and answer section...they shoot question at me...i shoot them more question...end up asking them...if they were given a chance..how would they improve the module...it was really no stress lor...just go with the flow and sell watever u got arh...remember the question and answer section...but try to ask back questions sparingly arh...maybe some testers dont like it... -
think i need my regular dose of chocs soon...
