  DVD digital camcorder. But digital camera is more compact and convenient to carry around.

  get a slim digicam that can capture video...like the panasonic one. Then get a few high capacity memory cards to store the video.

  Dunno leh, mine is the 1st generation one. Possibly the first 3mp camera in the market.

  I'm not sure which one. My current camera is Canon Powershot A310, need to hold the button for 3 secs to take a picture. Got digital zoom but no optical zoom. Lousy cam. Can take nice clear picture when taking near picture but totally blur picture when taking far away distance picture.
  
  Video size depends on how big is the memory card.
