  Bloody hell.. My buddy muz have 10 successful IV. 1st 4 using 18G needles. Next 6 using 16G. The smaller the no. the bigger the needle. 14G is the one used for blood donation drives.
  
  Buddy misses one means 1 extra on my arm. Misses many many more means many many more on my arms.
  
  Plus, the 16G needles do leave scars. Though i find scars sexy..

  during my bmt,got 1 time i was running a fever.
  imagine my horror when the 2 new medics pushing each other to poke the needle in me,saying in front of me "u poke lah,no lah u poke,no...."
  lucky the mo came in during that time and he poke........heng ah

  But seriously, it's very difficult to poke on someone else, esp if someone is ur fren. My buddy took a long time b4 finally poking me. Think he was nervous. Unlike me, i chop chop poke him in less den half the time for any of his attempts. I'm t0o desensitised n bloodthirsty..
