Distance is not too far for pain

After seeing icy mei's thread.. how many of u encountered a situation whereby u heard of a distant fren or relative falling critically/terminally ill.. or worse yet.. passed away..
Though u might have lost contact.. but still felt a heartache..
I did.. a fren in the past dropped dead suddenly.. he was still very young then..

in addition to hearing abt my friend's illness today...I just got another news to say that my former teacher, one I used to be very close with, is also dying from a terminal illness...
Two bad news in one day...plus tonnes of workload...I am turning into a vampire le...

yeah... i still remember the grieve and pain i had when my close friend passed away..... so close to mi that we'll stay over night at each other's house, work together, supper everyday together, call each other everyday....and her son is my little darling god-son too... she's so damn young... we wanted to do so many things together....
that night she even called mi saying she want go supper with some other friends and early morning 7am, i got the news that she passed away liao... i cried for two weeks non-stop... till not i havent step out of the grieve of her death.... -

my friend also, the doctor gave her maximum 2 years from last August.
and she just got her PhD from Cambridge!!!
but not much time left to enjoy the fruit.
when she told me abt the 2 yrs, i didn't know what to say... -
