There's a new HK-style makan shop in the row of shophouses next to Longhouse...I've yet to give it a go. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm not impressed with the café to say the least. For light bites like noodles, with fried eggs and franks, $4 is too much.
I went to The French Stall instead.

was just back in town on business a couple of weeks ago, things have changed so much.... and are still changing. All around my parents house, all these new houses have come up and the street just does not look the same anymore. on the plus side, had lots of prata and yummy food. The food the food is what I miss the most! -

I didn't know the Target Café at Thomson CC had anything to do with the old Weatern food stall at Kallang. It was featured on Channel 5 yesterday.

First post has been updated. And there's free parking at Shunfu Mart from 12 nn - 2pm from Monday til Saturday. It's free all day on Sundays.

Ivin's has moved out. Barnsbury and Ramu's Delicacies are moving in by the end of the month. Incidentally the latter used to be next to Sweet Secrets just up the street, before it moved to Serangoon Gardens.

Ramu's is now open, the food there is lovely...the 2 cafes next to it are still under construction.
Be prepared though...you get a free flow of rice, salad and gravy and a basket of popadam as standard.
P.S. If you haven't ordered 'Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows' yet it's going for $42 at Icekimo. -
Miss Clarity Cafe is being built next to Ramu's.
More new flavours are available at Icekimo, and they've added Maltesers to the Horlicks ice-creeam - it's delicious! -
There's a new Sarawak Kolo Mee stall in the same row of shophouses as 7-11/Roti Prata House. It's expensive but the portions are small, and it's nothing wonderful to me.
