I also remember seeing an EVA-Air MD-11 - or maybe it was a DC-10. I cannot remember if it had winglets on the wingtips. A model of a KLM MD-11 sits on top of my cupboard.
Finnair flies only MD-11 to Asia and US.
They fly Airbus fleet( A319, A320 and A321 ) for domestic flights.
EVA Air indeed operates MD-11 passenger aircraft before but they have converted all their pax MD-11 to freighters. Where did you see the EVA Air's MD-11 ? -
About 10 years ago, at Changi Airport. Whenever we had time we'd drive there and spend hours in the viewing gallery. Those were wonderful carefree times.

I have been caught taking photos with 2 of my aviation friends at nicholl drive , facing opposite Terminal 2. The police came and questioned us, kept us waiting for 1 hr before finally letting us go. That is one excellent place to spot planes but because of 911, security around the airport perimeters is very tight. Sigh.
